First up, the HONOR 90 Lite sports a 6.7-inch LTPS LCD display with a 1080p screen resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It looks more similar to the 90 Pro than the vanilla model with hexagonal camera islands on the back, as well as a rear panel design that the brand claims is anti-fingerprint. Inside, the mid-ranger runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and ships with MagicOS 7.1 based on Android 13. For photography, the HONOR 90 Lite features a triple-camera rear setup with a 100MP main camera, a 5MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro lens. Up front, the punch-hole cutout houses a 16MP selfie shooter, a far cry from the 50MP front camera found in both of its higher-end counterparts. Powering the Lite is a smaller 4,500mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging. For context, the HONOR 90 supports 66W charging while the Pro comes with 90W charging. On the connectivity side, it supports 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The specs of the HONOR 90 Lite were posted on the company’s French website, but the pricing has yet to be revealed. For colour options, the phone is available in blue, silver, and black. It is speculated that HONOR will announce the Lite’s pricing at the same time as the other two phones during its global launch event in France. The launch is set to take place on 6 July, but so far, there has been no word on the pricing and availability for the Malaysian market. (Source: HONOR France)
